Heterogenous Distribution of Fluorescent Phorbol Ester Signal in Living Sea Urchin Embryos

Limited studies in which fluorescent phorbol esters were employed have suggested that such probes may be useful for studying phospholipid-dependent protein kinase function in living cells. A study using these signals in living sea urchin embryos is presented.
