Description
Summary:Conventional Gasoline boats are popular in the current scenario due to its propulsion power and reliability. The advantages of Electric boats include its high controllable feature. It also has low maintenance and reduced noise and vibration. Sustainable mobility is one of the concerns related to conventional gasoline boat in ecologically fragile environments. Hybrid electric solution-based crafts are of advantageous in this concern. The paper gives an insight of the hydrodynamic design problems and the constraints of an Electric boat under low air gap bridges and other restricted or shallow water vessels. The paper also addresses the merits of a Hybrid Electric Boat under adverse sailing conditions.
