Summary: | Each type of feeding has its own characteristics due to the specific effect of feed on metabolism, physiological condition and animal productivity. So, the aim of the study was to study carbohydrate and nitrogen metabolism at various ratios of rough, concentrated and succulent feeds in the diet of young cattle during fattening. The intake of a large amount of easily digestible carbohydrates when the energy saturation of the diet is increased at the same time, increases the concentration of LFA in the rumen fluid, which points to an increase in the rate of fermentation of fiber fractions. Feeding a silage diet with an increased level of metabolic energy contributed to an increase in the total amount of VFA by 14.5% (P |
