Description
Summary:An electric motor is an object that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. In many cases, the efficiency of technological processes is determined by the reliability of electric motors in agricultural production, especially in livestock farming. The weak component in electric motors is the bearing. There are works according to which the performance of bearings is caused by their wear rate, however, for electric motors, the wear rate changes during operation due to the rotor eccentricity changing in the stator bore. For a more accurate measuring of the performance of bearing assemblies, it is proposed to determine the bearing life according to the results of bench tests. These tests make it possible to set the initial wear rate depending on the operational factors, as well as the difference between the limiting and initial wear rate. The parameters found with the help of the developed model made it possible to obtain the resource distribution, which was approximated by the three-parameter Weibull distribution. The results of the work can be used in the development of measures to ensure efficiency during operation, manufacture and repair of electric motors.
