Description
Summary:This study looked at how often chemotherapy is used and how well it works for people with stage II/III colorectal cancer. We used electronic health records from a large managed care organization to study 3 different groups of patients. We found that although chemotherapy can help people live longer, many people who could benefit from it do not receive it. This was especially true for people with high-risk stage II colon and stage III colorectal cancer.
