[...]of the more than 800,000 in SBAE, it's likely that tens of thousands of those students identify LGBTQ+, proving the importance of inclu-sive SBAE programs. Censorship laws, book bans, forced outing, and removal of anti-bullying protec-tions for LGBTQ+ students has fostered a hostile and scary school environment for many queer students.
