Summary: | In recent years, card decks with a focus on business issues have started to appear. These include IDEO's methods cards; nForm's "User Experience" trading cards; and Arthur Shelley's "Organizational Zoo" cards. The cards are arranged into three color-coded groups: 1. approaches (for example, knowledge and information management policy, better practice transfer); 2. methods (for example, concept mapping, world cafes, knowledge fairs); 3. tools (for example, metadata, wilds). The cards provide both a handy reference guide and workshopping tool for anyone organizing KM strategy and planning sessions. Most KM practitioners should understand peer assists, social network analysis or communities of practice. |
