Description
Summary:A survey of security professionals attending the Computer Security Institute's 21st Annual Computer Security Conference reveals that consensus and team spirit are regarded by these workers as important aspects of their jobs. The goal is to gain everyone's confidence because organizational support is needed to formulate effective policies and carry them out. Fifty-five percent of survey respondents agree that access to corporate networks via the Internet is a significant risk, and 55% say their organizations have no Internet security in place at this time. Thirty-two percent of respondents say the threat of unauthorized access via the Internet will prevent their companies from using it.
