Summary: | How on site foodservice operators can use a Web-based strategy to reach a wider and more experienced pool of job applicants is discussed. To increase the visibility of the foodservice department's employment opportunities, the department should work with its organization's HR department and Web master to do the following: 1. Proactively advertise management and culinary positions on hospitality-based Web sites. 2. Create a separate Web page for the foodservice department. 3. Break out foodservice positions into their own categories in the employment section of an organization's Web site. 4. Join appropriate national foodservice associations and advertise your positions on their sites with a direct link to your on page. |
