Summary:The Kingdom of Bahrain remains the Middle East's pre-eminent international financial centre. Its banks and financial institutions offer a wide range of services and facilities; from commercial banking to investment banking, offshore banking, Islamic banking and finance, funds management, foreign exchange and derivatives business, and insurance products. The policy of the Government is to continue to further broaden and deepen the Kingdom of Bahrain's financial markets within the framework of the overall policy of diversification towards a more broadly-based economy. The measures and initiatives already in place, as well as those to be introduced in the future, are credible, enlightened and adaptive to a constantly changing global financial environment.
