Carboxymethyl chitin as a matrix for composites with iron nanoparticles

The stabilizing effect of a biodegradable polymer in a macromolecular system based on 6-O-carboxymethyl chitin polyelectrolyte and iron nanoparticles is studied. Stabilization is associated with hydrogen bonding between the functional groups of the polymer and a surfactant forming the shell of a met...

Description
Summary:The stabilizing effect of a biodegradable polymer in a macromolecular system based on 6-O-carboxymethyl chitin polyelectrolyte and iron nanoparticles is studied. Stabilization is associated with hydrogen bonding between the functional groups of the polymer and a surfactant forming the shell of a metal nanoparticle micelle. Composite film materials containing iron nanoparticles 2–4 nm in size are obtained.
