Description
Summary:The biochemical (proton MR spectroscopy data) and hemodynamic (fMRI data) characteristics of the functional state of the prefrontal cortex were studied in seven patients with juvenile episodic schizophrenia in the state of remission after the first episode and in eight healthy subjects of similar gender and age. There were no differences between groups in terms of the parameters studied, though parameters were related to the severity of psychopathological symptomatology in patients, as evaluated on the PANSS.
