Zinc and Cadmium Uptake by Hyperaccumulator Thlaspi caerulescens and Metal Tolerant Silene vulgaris Grown on Sludge-Amended Soils
A field test for phytoremediation of zinc and cadmium contaminated soils using the zinc hyperaccumulator Thlaspi caerulescens is described. Although Thlaspi appears to hyperaccumulate zinc on mildly contaminated soils, cadmium uptake follows predictable patterns.
