Interacting elliptical galaxies as hosts of intermediate-redshift quasars

Observations of four quasars that were made with the refurbished Hubble Space Telescope are discussed. In all four cases, the quasars reside in luminous elliptical galaxies with very close companions, which is suggestive of continuing interactions.
