'Ten bob's worth of beauty?': Theodore Garman (1924-54) and his place in mid-20th-century British art

English Describes the life and work of Garman whose paintings have been overlooked and largely ignored by the artistic and academic world. Although he shared with his father, Jacob Epstein, a similar creative impetus, his work possibly owes more to Matthew Smith.
