Fluoroscopic demonstration of acute disruption of the fifth metatarsophalangeal sesamoid bones

A case report of traumatic disruption of both sesamoid bones of the fifth toe, in which stress fluoroscopy and spot radiographs confirmed increased separation of the sesamoidal fragments, is presented.
