Summary: | Electrochromic glass films of tungsten oxide have been prepared by the sol–gel method. Counter electrode of titanium and cerium oxide were obtained by the same method. The spectral time response as well as the charge capacity were measured as a function of the conductivity of the conductive support glasses. Optimum conditions for the electrochromic device operation were established. |
