Summary: | [...]systemic RV dysfunction is more likely to happen in the 4th or 5th decade than in the 2nd or 3rd decade. (44) reported on the prevalence of long QT syndrome gene variants in sudden infant death syndrome. Levels of troponin I postoperatively were greater in the control patients than in the preconditioned group, and inotropic requirement also was greater in control patients at 3 and 6 h. This study shows the myocardial protective effects of ischemic preconditioning using a simple, noninvasive technique of 5-min cycles of lower limb ischemia and reperfusion. |
