Summary:Abstract In the management of pediatric trauma, certain principles that are practiced in children who have sustained injuries more commonly seen in adults are extrapolated from the adult trauma literature. The increased use of computer tomography angiograms in the diagnosis of penetrating vascular trauma and endovascular therapy in treating vascular trauma in the adult population is being extended to the pediatric population. We present a case of a 14-year-old male with an axillary artery injury that was diagnosed by computer tomography angiogram and treated with an endovascular Stent graft with 1-year follow-up.
