Description
Summary:A pilot study constructed to ascertain the possible applicability to women of constructs developed for men in early adulthood (Levinson, D. J., Darrow, C. N., Klein, E. B., Levinson, M. H., & McKee, B., Seasons of a Man's Life, New York: Alfred A. Knopf Publishers, 1978). Using projective testing, a questionnaire, & interview data (N = 7), this project aims at generating some theoretical concepts about women's early adulthood that can be empirically tested in subsequent research. Results indicate that women may differ from men in their modes of attempting to integrate affiliative & achievement motives in this period of life. 15 References. HA
