Class Stratification and Cooperative Production among Rural Women in Central Mexico

Class tension between rural women in Guadalupe Mexico is examined. Class tensions, which affected the cooperative's dynamics, economic choices and its lack of success, were gendered in that they were manifestations of patriarchy and capitalism.
