Summary: | In an increasingly dynamic world where both needs and technologies are changing rapidly, especially in applications such as e-commerce systems, there is a requirement for whole-life and measurable customer-oriented processes (CoPs) for systems and software development. In the pursuit of delivering ‘fit for purpose’ systems, the design of a CoP requires a holistic approach to understanding, engineering, managing and evolving the system and software needs and requirements. This paper summarises the CoP concepts and requirements, describes some evaluation results and proposes the way ahead. |
