Wetting behavior of Zr-based bulk metallic glasses on W substrate

Summary: | The wetting behavior of a new Zr-based BMG on tungsten substrate was investigated by sessile drop method under high vacuum at the temperature range from 1173 K to 1223 K. The equilibrium contact angle has the monotone decrease with the increasing temperature. No reaction product can be found at the interface at 1173 K. When the temperature is above 1183 K, there are some reaction products appearing at the interface. The appropriate infiltration temperature for the W fiber-reinforced Zr
