Summary: | The paper analyses the factors that affect the thermoelectric performance of the thermoelectric air-conditioner. The performance of the thermoelectric cooling module has been improved through increasing of the figure of merit of thermoelectric material and the optimization of the assembling technology on the cooling module. In the design of thermoelectric air-conditioner the rating depress and the redundancy have been adopted, so that the high-efficiency cooling mode including the working voltage and the temperature differences between the hot and cold side has been established. Besides, owing to improve the fin design and adopt the planed lightweight high-efficient radiator the effective heat-dissipate area enlarges to three times more than the conventional one. In the integral design, the intersect flow exchanger structure has been introduced which further enhances the heat exchange efficiency. Eventually, the authors developed a high-efficiency thermoelectric air-conditioner, which Coefficient of Performance under cooling mode is more than 4.0. |
