Summary:Nonrheumatic streptococcal myocarditis (NRSM) is a life-threatening complication of streptococcal pharyngitis. We report the history of a 35-year-old man with recurrent NRSM and the related 18F-FDG PET/CMR findings.18F-FDG PET/CMR represents cutting-edge imaging for the diagnosis and follow-up of myocarditis, allowing myocardial inflammation assessment, and the distinction between active disease and myocardial scarring.
