Summary: | A systematic X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) study has been performed at the Ho L2,3-edges in Ho6Fe23 through the magnetic compensation transition. The analysis of the Ho L2,3 XMCD spectra shows that these two signals are proportional to the 4f magnetic moment through the whole temperature range. The magnetic moment of 5d shell derived from sum rules analysis is discussed in terms of the 4f influence to the 5d-band magnetism. |
