Summary: | Ferroelectric Ba x Sr 1 m x TiO 3 films were grown on alumina substrates, then the films were covered by copper layer and the structures were photolithographically patterned as the novel type of microwave transmission line--multislot line. The narrow strips inserted into a broad slot executed the functions of the electrodynamic waveguides and the DC electrodes forming a required electric field to control dielectric permittivity of BSTO film. A simulation of microwave device components working at frequencies 25--40 GHz was performed with use of original software based on full-wave electrodynamical model. The design of microwave resonators and filters including the multislot lines are discussed. |
