Summary:In the paper were presented problems of the steel supporting structures in the reloading and mining machines designing and construction. The computer aided dimensioning aspects of the basic and lifting machines were shown. The rigidity, the effort and the working time estimation criteria base for the computer aided dimensioning of the supporting structures were distinguished. The examples of the computer aided dimensioning for the effort and the working time estimation of the mining machines frame supporting structures were shown.
