Microwave signatures of solar flare buildup

All-weather monitoring data on the state and development of solar activity from the Siberian Solar Radio Telescope (SSRT) have been used in identifying a number of buildup signatures of powerful flares, and an algorithm for their short term prediction has been suggested on this basis.
