Operator interfaces let users and PLCs 'talk' to each other
There is one common thread found in the PLCs of 1978, 1984, or even 1995; absence of operator interface. Because of this, a large third-party marketplace has developed. Text-based message displays and graphical terminals offer low-cost, high functionality, and near-intuitive operation.
