A novel method for analog measuring of pulse width and rise time of defibrillating shocks

A novel method and the instrumentation developed for analog measuring of pulse width (T/sub 10/ or T/sub 50/) and rise time (T/sub 10-90/) of cardiac defibrillator discharges are presented. The input pulse is applied to an analog delay network and to a peak detector which determines reference voltag...

Description
Summary:A novel method and the instrumentation developed for analog measuring of pulse width (T/sub 10/ or T/sub 50/) and rise time (T/sub 10-90/) of cardiac defibrillator discharges are presented. The input pulse is applied to an analog delay network and to a peak detector which determines reference voltages. Those phase-shifted signals go to a comparator that generates the control pulse. A counter and a decoder excite the LCD display that shows the measured parameters with accuracy better than 0.33%.
