Colobaea pectoralis (Zetterstedt, 1847) and Pherbellia dorsata (Zetterstedt, 1846) snail-killing flies (Diptera, Sciomyzidae) new to Ireland

Records are presented of two snail-killing flies (Diptera, Sciomyzidae) new to Ireland: Colobaea pectoralis (Zetterstedt, 1847) and Pherbellia dorsata (Zetterstedt, 1846). The identification and habitat associations of these species are discussed.
