The ASF eighteenth annual translation prize

Since 1980, the American-Scandinavian Foundation has offered an annual prize to encourage translation of Scandinavian literary works into English. Rose-Marie Oster was chosen for her translation of the narrative poem, "Knivkastarens kvinna," and Kerstin Ekman for writing the poem.
