Description
Summary:Control of the weedy awnless barnyard grass during the summer fallow period in Australia's northeastern grain region, using glyphosate, was studied. The influence of four different soil moisture levels, two irradiance levels, three temperature regimes, and two levels of relative humidity on glyphosate efficacy was examined. Glyphosate treatment performed best under well-watered, cool, and humid conditions, and worst under severe water stress, hot, and less humid conditions. Irradiance had no effect on glyphosate efficacy.
