Status of membrane-filter procedure for examination of water and milk for Staphylococcus aureus
Baird-Parker agar was more efficient for S. aureus recovery than Mannitol Salt, Staphylococcus 110 and Chapman Stone agars, respectively. It was not recommended for use in liquid form with absorbent pads.
