Every one of us probably has numerous success stories concerning employee referrals. Additionally, most of us will be personally involved in networking friends and associates in our professional roles, giving credence to the old adage, "No one gets there alone." This opportunity to open doors and help others has become even more important with the global economic challenges we face. This is especially relevant for job seekers with disabilities. Many qualified job candidates with disabilities could use networking contacts to locate, and communicate with, employers seeking applicants for their openings. Far too frequently, the perfect candidate may be "under the radar" to recruiters and hiring managers. Identifying all your resources applies to both employers and potential employees.
