Comment on the Morris and Suckerman study of therapist warmth as a factor in automated systematic desensitization

Delineates methodological shortcomings of the experiment of R. J. Morris and K. R. Suckerman and argues that their generalization--that therapist warmth is necessary for effecting positive change with desensitization--is not justified by their research. (25 ref)
