Description
Summary:Presents the results of a survey of Canadian universities to determine the availability of training in school psychology and the direction school psychology is taking in Canada. Training programs were offered at 9 Canadian universities, and were available at the graduate diploma, master's, and doctorate levels. The trend for these programs has been toward a combination of both clinical and educational orientations, with requirements for an internship, a thesis, residence of at least 1 yr at the master's level and 2 yrs at the doctoral level, courses in statistics and psychological assessment, and additional course work in psychology and/or education.
