Summary:A new 1,6-seco-norisoprenoid, named croyanhuin G ( 1 ), together with ten known norisoprenoids ( 2–11 ), was isolated from the leaves and twigs of Croton yanhuii Y. T. Chang (Euphorbiaceae). The structure of this new compound was characterized and identified by HR-ESI-MS, IR, and 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic techniques. Compound 1 was evaluated for its cytotoxic activity against HeLa cell line.
