Description
Summary:Education is something that can be seen as something that will bring someone to a better future. However, the main problem in education is that not all residents in an area have access to education, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. One of the problems in the form of low physical facilities in the form of schools is quite a big influence on the inequality of education in Indonesia, including in Padang Cermin District. As a result of this, there is a pattern of distribution and affordability of school facilities that cannot be accessed by all residents in the area. The data in this study were obtained from school location points accompanied by administrative boundaries and road facilities, both main collector roads, arterial roads, local roads, and other roads. The method used in this analysis. The technique used in the process of processing school location data in this study is in the form of coordinates for the distribution of schools with the nearest neighbor analysis technique t (nearest neighbor analysis) and buffer analysis. The results of the analysis show that the distribution pattern of SD and SMA/SMK is clustered, while SMP has a random pattern. The affordability of SD is 91.6%, SMP is 33.3%, and SMA/SMK is 75%.
