Description
Summary:The article presents the results of theoretical and operational studies of the dependence the internal combustion engine resource on changes in the physico-chemical properties of engine oil with a decrease in its volume in the crankcase. Comparative data on the performance indicators of standard diesel engines and experimental diesels in operation equipped with a device for maintaining the standard oil level in the crankcase are presented. The proposed built-in device for maintaining the standard level of oil in the crankcase diesel engine makes it possible to reduce material costs for ensuring its performance and increase the resource of use.
