Description
Summary:Three-dimensional electron microscopy (EM) has irrupted in the field of cell biology to provide exciting information at the structural level, including the shape and volume of organelles and their spatial distribution within the cell. Here, we present some examples of the application of 3D EM to the study of the plant endomembrane system, demonstrating the enormous potential of these techniques.
