Summary:Flow oscillation can happen in natural circulation boiling water reactors, if stat up procedure deviates from predefined path. Because of the flow oscillations, Premature CHF can have occurred. Hence predicting the CHF under flow oscillation is very important for reactor design considerations. Determination of CHF by the experimentation is very costly and it depends on the particular types of geometry of road bundle. CHF can be predicting based on physical phenomena known as mechanistic modelling. For incorporating the effect of deposition rate entrainment rate, empirical correlations are used. Efficacy of any mechanistic model is depend on the types of deposition model and entrainment model have been used in that model. In this paper, different deposition model available in the open literature have been taken for consideration and predicted value of each deposition model is compared from the experimental data..
