Description
Summary:To investigate the bond behavior of ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) and steel bar, central pull-out tests of 48 cube bond specimens were conducted, the ultimate tension, mean bonding stress, the average slip were evaluated. The influence of embedded length and diameter of reinforcing bar on bonding property of reinforced concrete in UHPC was discussed. The results show that the average ultimate bonding stress increases with the increase of bonding length. When the embedded length is 3d and 4d, the reinforcing bar is pulled out, and when the embedded length is 5d, the reinforcing bar is broken. When the diameter of reinforcing bar increased from 14 to 20 mm, the average ultimate bonding stress increased with increase of the ultimate tensile force.
