Thermotechnical and Adsorption Characteristics of the SrCl2 Adsorbent for Ammonia Vapors in Solar Absorption Cycles

The article is devoted to the issue of expanding the limits of ammonia absorption on solid sorbent SrCl 2 in the range of partial pressure Р 0 / R W = 1–8 Pa in solar absorption cycles. A setup for measuring the absorption and desorption of ammonia vapor molecules on SrCl 2 has been developed. Accor...

Description
Summary:The article is devoted to the issue of expanding the limits of ammonia absorption on solid sorbent SrCl 2 in the range of partial pressure Р 0 / R W = 1–8 Pa in solar absorption cycles. A setup for measuring the absorption and desorption of ammonia vapor molecules on SrCl 2 has been developed. According to the results, it is recommended to use SrCl 2 manufactured at mechanical pressure Р M = 11 × 10 5 Pa as a solid sorbent in solar absorption cycles. Thermotechnical and adsorption characteristics of solid strontium chloride sorbent were studied.
