Description
Summary:Within the framework of solving the problem of analyzing and evaluating the practical implementation of dry granulation of BF slag, a mathematical model of the dynamics of heat transfer in the process of cooling of a moving dense layer of hot BF slag in a cross-flow of cold air has been developed and presented. A high level of formalization and sufficient adequacy of the model is achieved by including the basic heat balance equations with a reasonable minimum of control parameters. To assess the possibility and quality of process control, a specific example was used to develop functional and mathematical models of an automatic temperature control system for a dry slag granulation unit.
