Summary:Methods for determining the linear spectral frequencies using the properties of the divided differences’ scheme and the modified Newton method have been developed. The proposed methods are based on the adaptation of several existing algorithms for calculating the linear spectral frequencies. The best choices are algorithms that offer a trade-off between precision and computational complexity. Frequency determination accuracy is independent of each other and can be adjusted. The results obtained can be used to analyze the efficiency of determining the convergence and the complexity of calculating the linear spectral frequencies.
