Description
Summary:—The problem of scattering on an ideally conducting infinite cylinder of a monopolar electromagnetic pulse, the electric field of which is parallel to the cylinder axis, is considered by the methods of a computational experiment. It is shown that, regardless of the ratio of the spatial pulse length to the cylinder diameter, the scattered field is monopolar.
