Description
Summary:This article aims to verify the effect of systemic family therapy on the symptomatology of internalizing and externalizing factors in adolescents. The sample was of 109 adolescents, of which 56% were men and 54% women, with a mean age of 15.1 years. Systemic family therapy, under the conditions in which it has been applied, has had a statistically significant and clinically relevant effect. The success rate attributable to treatment was 46% in the Internalizing factor, 43% in Outsourcer, 60% in Somatic Complaints, 43% in Anxiety / Depression and 55% in Aggressive Behavior. These results contribute to the need to align this type of health intervention with the school environment in adolescents.
