Summary: | The machining of composites is of great importance in manufacturing. In particular, there is a need to calculate the cutting force and predict the surface quality of composite workpieces. In the present work, the SPG and SPH methods are used to simulate the cutting zone of a unidirectional fiber-reinforced composite and particle-reinforced composite. The calculation results are consistent with experimental observations and may be used in practice. |
